Reichhold is seeking three highly motivated students to conduct  
industrial hygiene monitoring and assist with environmental, health,  
and safety (EHS) programs at its chemical manufacturing facilities in  
the United States. Reichhold is a leading resin manufacturer and  
supplier with operations in North America, South America, Latin  
America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Plant-based summer internship opportunities are available in Morris,  
Illinois (about one hour outside Chicago) and Valley Park, Missouri  
(St. Louis metro area). A third intern will be based in Research  
Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina. He/she will serve the RTP labs  
as well as Reichhold plants in New Jersey, Texas, and California. The  
salary for these temporary positions is $3300 per month. The expected

Requirements

This position will report to the Corporate Health & Safety Manager  
and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of health and  
safety programs at the Highland Heights, KY and Brussels, Belgium PPD  
locations and for facilitating a collaborative approach to  
implementing such programs with site management.

Educational and Professional requirements include:

· BS in Industrial Hygiene and Safety or related field or equivalent  
combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge,  
skills, and abilities to perform the job.
· 2-5 years experience in industrial hygiene and safety background
· Experience in a clinic, lab or health care setting is preferred.
· Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, ICAO, NRC, and other related  
regulations.
· Industrial hygiene background required
· Knowledge of air monitoring strategies.
· Strong presentation skills and the ability to provide effective  
training.
· Good problem solving skills.
· Knowledge of workersâEUR(tm) compensation requirements.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Good judgement and business acumen.
· Good computer skills.
· Previous lab/clinic or health care experience highly desirable
