Jimmie Oxley and her colleagues are again offering superb training in handling explosives and related energetic chemicals  In addition, they have developed some online resources.  See below.  If you are receiving Department of Homeland Security Funding, your PIs may be handling high energetic chemicals-these resources may be very helpful

Fundament als of Explosives is again offered May 3-5, 2011 on University of Rhode Island campus.  See attached brochure.  Pages 2 and 3 list approximately 20 explosive classes you can attend or bring to your facility.  Please pass this brochure on to those interested.  You may also be interested in our database of explosive properties: http://expdb.chm.uri.edu/ and our website of Center activities and publications: http://energetics.chm.uri.edu/
