Safe Use of Laboratory Scale Pressure Reactors Online Learning Program
During this session, participants will learn about a general introduction to pressure vessels, the different between regulated and unregulated pressure vessels, the types of laboratory scale pressure reactors, the safe use of pressure reactors, risk assessments, lessons learned from three different incidents, and a summary of key recommendations.
The presenters for this online learning program are Craig Merlic from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, UCLA University of California Center for Laboratory Safety, Dennis Nolan from the Environmental Health and Safety Office, at the University of Texas at Austin, and Markus Schaufele from the Office for Research Safety, at Northwestern University.
