FYI, the 2018 CHAS chair, Joe Pickel, and I collaborated on an Journal of Chemical Health and Safety article that describes the process and outcomes of the 2018 ACS Safety Summit. The article is entitled "Bringing Safety to Chemistry for Life" and outlines strategic opportunities for the ACS to provide leadership for safety in the chemistry enterprise.
