We sincerely hope that you, your family, friends, students, and colleagues are safe and healthy as we confront the COVID-19 pandemic. We know that many of you are making special efforts to teach remotely on very short notice and support your students in other ways. You are a critical part of your local communities and the community of chemistry professionals. We are grateful for your service during these difficult times.
AACT and ACS are committed to helping you navigate the numerous challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Your ideas and input will be invaluable as we evaluate how we can best support you during this challenging time. Please feel free to share your thoughts directly with us at aact**At_Symbol_Here**acs.org. We would also like to direct you to a special COVID-19 Forum on the ACS Network established to allow the chemistry community to connect and share information, concerns, and solutions about various aspects of the current COVID-19 pandemic. ACS is continuing its work with governmental organizations, policymakers, partner scientific societies, educators and the media in supporting and promoting COVID-19 scientific research tools and other valuable resources. The COVID-19 Resource Webpageprovides access to COVID-19 research published in ACS journals and related resources/tools from CAS to help researchers evaluate vaccine developments and other means to defeat the virus.
We urge you to stay safe and to continue modeling good hygiene and social distancing. Together, we can flatten the curve of this pandemic and emerge stronger and more resilient for the future. Thank you for your ongoing commitment to chemistry education.
