Whether you are a PI, a lab manager, a safety officer in your lab, or a chemical safety professional, safety leadership is challenging. The idea of creating a positive ‰??safety culture‰?? has garnered much attention over the past decade within the chemistry enterprise. The term ‰??safety culture‰?? is frequently used throughout industry and academia, but what are the key ingredients needed to develop a generative and sustainable culture. The ACS now requires that authors include a statement of safety concerns in manuscripts submitted to ACS journals.

Presented by Robin Izzo, Mary Beth Koza and Samuella Sigmann
