Demystify: 

Hello - 

 

I have a couple of questions about the yearly inspection of laboratory fume hoods. 

  • Can the inspection be performed in house or do we need to contract an outside company?  
  • Is there a type of certification that would be required for a maintenance employee to have before doing the smoke visualization test etc.?
